Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME) export lean hog futures closed higher on Wednesday

 

  • Firm wholesale pork prices gave support for it – the USDA priced pork carcasses $1 higher on Wednesday than they did on Tuesday.

According to the Health Ministry, Namibia has confirmed 54 cases of swine flu. The central Otjozundjopa region and the area surrounding the capital Windhoek were the most affected, with 24 positive cases reported in each area.
