๐Ÿ’ธ Thanksgiving is a wonderful time for family and friend get-togethers. Right? But with inflation on the rise, this year’s will also be a great time to learn how to save some money when grocery shopping! According to the American Farm Bureau Federation (AFBF), the average cost of the classic meal for a family of 10 in 2022 is 20% higher than last year.

    • The only menu item to see a decrease this year was a bag of fresh cranberries (too bad they don’t taste as good as turkey…). Check out the summary of the surveyed price changes here.

๐Ÿ“ˆ If you want to blame something, blame inflation! Supply chain issues and high commodity prices have also driven food prices higher.

    • The situation is even tougher for farmers, who are also experiencing high fuel and fertilizer prices while trying to meet the growing demands for food.

๐Ÿ” The bottom line is: start shopping early this Thanksgiving, use advertisements and store apps to find the best prices, give preference to generic brands, and click here to read the complete news.
