๐Ÿ‡ช๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿฆ  Over the last decade, African Swine Fever (ASF) has had a dramatic impact on the pig farming sector in the EU. It still continues to disrupt local and regional economies, that's quite true, but according to a new report published by the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA), the number of outbreaks in both pigs and wild boars fell dramatically last year compared to 2021.

Encouraging, right? It seems efforts to halt the spread of the virus are working and the European picture is a positive one. Nevertheless, they must remain vigilant 'round those parts – and our farmers, hunters, and vets around here too! Click here for more of this good news.
