Unfasten your seatbelts 💺

🛤️ The group representing major railroad companies and the International Brotherhood of Teamsters (BMWED) agreed to extend the date when they would decide whether to go on strike. The bomb was originally set to blow on Nov. 19, but it’s been postponed to Dec. 4. 

🎉 With this extension, there is absolutely no reason for the railroads to discontinue services, because now they have time to come to the bargaining table. Luckily, this means we can unfasten our seatbelts – the threat of disruptions in transportations of products like fertilizers and the intentional economic impact to the US economy that would follow is considerably smaller.
