๐Ÿ‡จ๐Ÿ‡ฆ The Canadian Pork Council is making their point: consumers and the government need to understand the importance of having affordable pork products available – for the sake of people's health! The Canadian Senate is being called on to move forward Bill C-234, which provides exemptions for farmers to Canada’s carbon tax.

๐Ÿ’ธ๐Ÿ“ƒ According to the Canadian Pork Council, adding a carbon tax onto farm inputs means that the price of food goes up. In other words, the government should do anything it can to try to keep its swine industry competitive and make sure it can continue to feed the world and Canada. See more about the issue here.
