๐Ÿ‡ท๐Ÿ‡บ Ever got the impression that Russia didn’t care much about disruptions to global food security efforts? Well, according to the country’s Deputy Foreign Minister, it’s quite the opposite, and a deal allowing Ukraine to export grain via the Black Sea could go back into effect.

    • The deal is due for Nov. 19, unless there are objections (let’s hope for the best, shall we?). Read this to get up to speed on the latest developments.

๐ŸŒ Moscow said that the agreement depends on whether it can export its own grain and fertilizer despite the obstacles created by Western sanctions.

     • Just a quick reminder that both Ukraine and Russia are major global grain exporters, and the latter is the world's largest wheat exporter and a major supplier of fertilizers, crop, and soil nutrients.
