Record high 🏆

🐷 In the pork market, Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME) April lean hog futures ended last week on a high after having dropped to a low during that period.

🐮 CME live cattle futures retreated after racing to all-time highs during the previous three sessions as tightening US supplies rallied cash prices.

    • The market overheated this week and futures hit the 2014 record high as meatpackers had to pay more for cattle supplies that have declined due to bad weather and high feed costs.
