Optimistic, but not that much ๐Ÿง

๐Ÿ‡ท๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ’‰ The first vaccine against African Swine Fever (ASF) has passed the preliminary tests on commercial livestock in Russia. Optimism is limited, however: the Russian Federal Center for Animal Health warns that the following steps will be challenging, since the obtained strains should pass through genetic editing and the trials conducted this far were in a vivarium (meaning they have a limited capacity).
