๐Ÿ‡จ๐Ÿ‡ณ Although China imported billions of dollars worth of agricultural products from the US, trade barriers prevented the numbers from growing even further. So what would happen if China’s import barriers were to be removed? Why are we talking about this? Both are great questions, and here are the answers:

     • According to specialists, a country imports when foreign prices are lower than domestic prices, which consequently decreases domestic prices. So removing barriers would decrease the gap between the prices and lead to increases in agricultural imports over the following years.
