💸 The USDA has announced it would allocate $59 million in federal grants to five independent processors through the Meat and Poultry Processing Expansion Program. The objective is as clear as day: helping out farmers and ranchers by giving them a fair chance to compete in the marketplace – and thus, helping lower food costs as well.
