๐Ÿ‡ต๐Ÿ‡ฑ๐Ÿ˜ท Every year, the number of Polish pig farms reporting an infection with African Swine Fever (ASF) shows a peak in summer – 2023 is no exception. Up until June this year, only one farm had reported an outbreak; but now, in a matter of just a week, the count jumped to eight farms…

  • Among the newly reported farms, four are located close to the border with Belarus, one of them being the largest infected property this year. So far, the total number of infected pig farms in Poland is 484 and there have been 1,813 reported ASF cases in wild boar. For more on Poland, click here.
