It’s raining pork 🌧️🐷

🥩 What would you do if pork started falling from the sky? As delicious or scary that idea may be (we guess it depends on the perspective), that’s not exactly what’s happening, but a considerable amount of pork has been donated to food banks.

    • The US National Pork Board, several state pork associations, Farmland – a brand of Smithfield Foods, and country music superstar Luke Bryan have partnered to donate an estimated total of 1 million servings of pork. To see the list of food banks that received the donation, click here.

🍽️ The idea is to help share with the general public the story of people and practices involved in pig farming today, and tighten the gap between the farm and the fork in times of high food insecurity.
