Following their footsteps ๐Ÿพ

๐ŸŒ๐Ÿ— Not in a figurative way, we're being quite literal here: a new study by a Penn State-led research team has developed predictive models to help track the movement of feral hogs at the Great Smoky Mountains National Park.

  • The study used GPS collars to track the movements of female feral swine within the park and design predictive models to determine the most likely places to find the animals. That's quite interesting, but we can't lose track of what our goal is: the most important part is that these models will lead to better feral swine surveillance and management in the park.
