🇺🇲🇲🇽 During a meeting last week, the US and Mexico discussed various issues concerning energy and biotech corn. Among the topics addressed at the conversation was the ban of US GMO corn imports by Mexico (remember?) – according to the news, consultations for a settlement over the issue began.

• Mexico’s Health Ministry has published a draft proposal to modify the ban and both parties have 30 days to comment on it. The good news? The US has noted some progress in negotiations with Mexico, expressing optimism that the dispute would eventually be resolved. For more, click here.
