Big Brother โ€“ agricultural hotspots edition ๐Ÿ“ท

๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ฒ๐Ÿง‘‍๐ŸŒพ Although electronic communication has changed the world around us in the blink of an eye, there are still many remote rural areas which are struggling to connect with the outside world  hotspots for agriculture. That's why Iowa State University is launching a nationwide research project funded by the National Science Foundation to develop new wireless networking tools that would serve those hotspots, especially within the state.

     • The cameras, intentionally linked to the team's network at the university’s labs, help establish better understanding of the needs of such hotspots by wirelessly transmitting information from monitored properties. Check out more about it here.
