Bacons and buddies 🥓🤗

👥 Having buddies is good, having bacon is great… But can you imagine having bacon buddies?? After three successful Bacon Buddies swine shows at the Iowa State Fair, the Iowa Pork Producers Association is encouraging residents across the state to organize their own local shows.

     • Bacon Buddies shows are designed to give individuals with disabilities the opportunity to take a pig into the showring and work with 4-H and FFA mentors. The main point isn’t the show itself, but the connections, friendships, and acceptance built and experienced by all participants.
