ASF around the globe 🌎

Where are the outbreaks of African Swine Fever taking place around the globe? What are the perspectives for various countries? And how often in history did the ASF virus cross the Atlantic?

• To answer these questions, we have the SowBridge series – a U.S. educational program for swine producers that aims to increase productivity and the understanding of important topics in the swine industry.

Regarding ASF, it is more remarkable how the dynamics vary by country and continent. That is to say, in some places, it really is a problem of wild boars being infected, while in others, domestic pigs appear to be the main victims.
