Adding fuel to the fire (or snow?) ๐Ÿ”ฅโ„๏ธ

This week, grain prices suffered moderate overnight losses, but bounced back. The world’s current turmoil, in particular reports that Russian missiles had landed in Poland, added fuel to the fire, while – ironically enough – the snowy and wintry weather in the US can have effects on the prices as well.

     • Corn prices moved moderately higher because of export optimism and reemerging geopolitical concerns in the Black Sea region.

     • Soybean prices made moderate inroads after a flash sale to Mexico.

     • Wheat prices captured a late-session rally after a round of technical buying was triggered because of the reports of the Russian missiles.
